    Q For Anyone From Chicago

Can you bring pets (puppy/dog) into baggage claim (on a leash of course) at O'Hare when coming to pick someone up? Smile

    Thanks.

I believe you can. Baggage claim is on the lower level and the parking is right across the street from the entrances and there really isn't "security" per say. I have not seen an animal brought in... but then again... I've never seen anyone "stopped" from not being allowed downstairs anyway.

I know for sure, that at least 6 yrs ago (when King was in the USMC) they used to.....whenever I picked him up from the airport I did see animals in there often....

as far as whether they allow it now, i'm not sure, sorry Sad

idk if chicago is anything like atl but...if it is, then they should allow it. i mean i dont see A LOT of animals there, but i do see a few...tho usually theyre small dogs and are usually being held by their owners but still...i dont THINK you should have a problem, but idk.

you can always use yahoo answers or ask my wife (google) they could tell you...

    Today be that day.

I'm bringing my pup either way (no one will be home and he has never seen O'Hare before Razz ), and going in to ask security if I can. Worst thing they can say is no, and I will just wait in parking lot with pup until GF arrives then put pup in car,go inside to greet, and get her luggage really quick.

I tried Googling and Yelping but no first hand experience answers or official ones from security.

Good Luck... but I think you're safe...
