The last movie I saw was Sherlock Holmes. It was better than Avatar in the "story and acting department" by far...imo. Overall I liked it more than Avatar. Robert Downey Jr is a freakin beast at portraying Holmes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Avatars story wasn't bad. I thought it was better than most of the movies this year.

Yeah if your comparing it to Transformers 2 and G.I Joe. It wasn't as good as D9, or Star Trek.

You can go ahead and add Dances With The Wolves and Pocahontas to that re-imagined list.

The only thing that Avatar had going for it was the CGI.

Good man, I wanted to see if anyone else would add those two movies. I myself don't see the CG as anything special, I've heard that the CG is the best but to me the best this year in terms of CG is Christmas Carol. That was really great looking.

I watched Adventureland last night. It was a pretty good movie. The only "big name" actor in it was Ryan Reynolds, and surprisingly his character was not the normal comical one.

District 9 today. It was ok. A little slow to get going for me but it was a decent movie. Nothing earth shattering tho

I watched Avatar two times because it was so awesome. The picture was outstanding. I recently watched Sherlock Holmes and recommend people watching it. It had alot of twists and turns. Good movie no doubt about that.
